Jury hears 11 competitors' recitations of Holy Quran

Makkah, August 27, 2023, The recitations of 11 competitors from Lebanon, Togo, Chad, Indonesia, Jordan, Mali, Italy, Nigeria, Congo, Yemen, and Sierra Leone were heard this morning by the jury of the 43rd King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran. In the evening, it will pick up again to take in the recitations of the other competitors from various nations. The King Abdulaziz International Competition is now taking place at Makkah's Grand Mosque under the supervision of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. There are 166 competitors, representing 117 nations.
