Tirana, November 21, 2023, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call, and Guidance celebrated the successful conclusion of the "Jusoor" (Bridges) Exhibition at Skanderbeg Square in Tirana, Albania, after a 13-day run that saw an impressive turnout of over 70,000 visitors.
During the exhibition, 10,000 copies of the Holy Quran, accompanied by translations in Albanian and Macedonian languages, were distributed to attendees. The event aimed to provide information about the Kingdom's initiatives in serving the Two Holy Mosques and facilitating Hajj and Umrah for pilgrims.
Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the Kingdom's commitment to serving Islam and Muslims, with a special focus on the Mus'haf through the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex. The exhibition also highlighted key events such as the King Abdulaziz International Holy Quran Competition for Memorization, Recital, and Explanation, as well as the global distribution program of date gifts initiated by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
The ministry's mobile apps, including Correct Quotation and Rushd, were showcased, offering attendees valuable tools for enhancing their understanding of Islam. The exhibition featured informative corners with displays of old manuscripts, Saudi coffee, Arabic calligraphy, and traditional Saudi clothing.
The inauguration of the "Jusoor" exhibition was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Albania Faisal bin Ghazi Hifzi and received significant participation from Albanian officials. The exhibition coincided with the final qualifiers for the International Holy Quran Competition for the Balkan Countries.
