Jeddah, January 22, 2024, On Sunday, Dr. Adel Mohammad Mohsen Abuzenadah, the Vice President of King Abdulaziz University (KAU), held discussions with Daniel Bushman, the Cultural Attaché at the American Consulate in Jeddah, to explore potential avenues for academic, scientific, and research collaboration between the two entities. The meeting also included an introductory tour during which they were briefed on the ongoing progress of trial tests related to the American license for dentistry practice.
Concurrently, the Faculty of Dentistry and the University Dental Hospital at KAU are currently hosting a team from the American Board of Dental Examiners (ADEX). This team is overseeing the qualification process for academic staff at KAU's Faculty of Dentistry to conduct pilot tests. The visiting team's mission involves delivering lectures and training workshops for academic and medical staff, as well as intern doctors at the Faculty of Dentistry and the University Dental Hospital. The primary objective is to provide instruction on the testing mechanism. Following this, experimental tests will be conducted to qualify participants for an official test scheduled to take place in June.
