On March 21, 2025, Kenyan President William Ruto met with Waleed Elkhereiji, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, during his official visit to Kenya. Elkhereiji conveyed the greetings and best wishes of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, expressing hopes for Kenya’s ongoing progress and prosperity. The discussions centered on strengthening bilateral ties and addressing important international developments. The meeting was also attended by Saudi Ambassador to Kenya, Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Salman.
