Riyadh, February 07, 2024, King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH&RC) has achieved global recognition as a leading healthcare institution, securing the 20th position worldwide and topping the list in the Middle East and Africa in the Brand Finance Global Top 250 Hospitals 2024 report, as per a press release from the hospital.
Brand Finance, established in 1996, conducts annual evaluations of over 500 hospitals globally, utilizing more than 30 performance indicators that encompass healthcare, research centers, and education to inform science-based strategic decision-making.
Drawing insights from healthcare practitioners across more than 30 countries, the assessment acknowledged several institutions for their excellence. Notably, KFSH&RC emerged as a standout leader, joined by other prominent healthcare facilities such as King Saud Medical City, King Khalid University Hospital, National Guard Health Affairs, and King Fahd Medical City, all securing positions among the top 100 globally. King Fahd University Hospital and King Abdullah Medical City, as indicated in the release, attained rankings between 101 and 250.
"The outstanding performance of KFSH&RC in this global ranking underscores the Kingdom's ambitious healthcare transformation objectives and the transformative impact of Vision 2030," the release stated.
