Riyadh, March 22, 2025 – The King Abdulaziz Center for Cultural Communication (KACCC) organized a gathering on Monday for Saudi and foreign youths to exchange experiences on the concept of fasting and related traditions across different countries. The event, part of the Safeer Program, was attended by KACCC Secretary General Abdullah AlFozan and Deputy Secretary General Ibrahim Al-Asimi.

AlFozan highlighted that the Safeer Program, which brings together young individuals from the Kingdom and various other nations, strengthens cultural communication between Saudi citizens and residents of diverse nationalities.

The program equips youth with effective cross-cultural communication skills, emphasizing shared human values, promoting coexistence, enhancing relationships, and fostering tolerance and openness to different cultures, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

Participants discussed common values across different civilizations and shared experiences about fasting, exploring the religious and cultural traditions of various countries. They also learned about social customs, foods, and Ramadan practices in each community.
