Riyadh, September 21, 2024—The King Abdulaziz Public Library in Riyadh is celebrating the 94th National Day of Saudi Arabia with a diverse range of events throughout the city and its surroundings. From September 21 to 30, the library will host a series of activities, including a main celebration on September 21 themed “Our Home's Dream Has Come True.” This event will showcase cultural activities related to the Year of the Camel, a visual arts exhibition, a drawing contest, traditional dance performances like the Saudi Ardah, and the offering of Saudi coffee. Additionally, the library's mobile units will tour various locations, providing access to historical books and materials about the Kingdom's establishment and development, set to be available at Mutah Park, Diriyah Gardens, and the heritage city in Shaqra. The library will also feature an exhibition titled “Saudi Features and Places” and screen the documentary film “The Last Bedouins.” For children, a special program will include a theater performance and workshops designed to foster patriotism. The King Abdulaziz Public Library has been celebrating National Day for nearly four decades, showcasing the Kingdom's rich history and cultural heritage to its citizens.
