The King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH&RC) has announced its plans to organize the 10th International Nursing Conference in Jeddah from November 27-29. With the theme "Nurses: Catalysts, Navigators, and Innovators in Healthcare," this collaborative platform aims to advance healthcare practices and elevate the nursing field.
Celebrating its 20th year, the conference will focus on the integral role of nursing in achieving Saudi Vision 2030's ambitious goals. It will also explore the future of healthcare, including the impact of technology and innovation. Topics such as sustainability of healthcare services, nurse recruitment and retention strategies, nursing research advancements, and evidence-based practices will be discussed.
The event will feature renowned experts from the Middle East, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Distinguished speakers include the Director-General of the General Department of Nursing Affairs at the Ministry of Health, the Chief Nurse of the International Council of Nurses (ICN), the President-Elect of Sigma Theta Tau International, and the Director of the American Nursing Credentialing Center's Magnet Recognition Program.
Adapting to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's conference will span three days and offer a comprehensive program consisting of keynote sessions, concurrent sessions, workshops, and presentations. Approximately 600 attendees are expected to participate.
KFSH&RC's exceptional nursing services have earned it the prestigious Magnet accreditation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for the third consecutive time. This recognition signifies the hospital's outstanding patient care, innovative practices, and exceptional clinical outcomes, emphasizing its global prominence in the healthcare community. Only 8% of hospitals worldwide have achieved this esteemed status.
