Abha, October 20, 2024 – King Khalid University has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the 11th position in the QS Arab Region University Rankings 2025, out of 246 universities across the Arab world. This accomplishment also places the university 4th among 34 universities in Saudi Arabia, a testament to its commitment to excellence in higher education, research, and international collaboration.


Dr. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam, Acting President of King Khalid University, expressed immense pride in this achievement, emphasizing the university's pivotal role in fostering the sustainable development of the Aseer region. He attributed this success to the university’s comprehensive 2030 strategy, which aligns with both the Aseer Region Development Strategy and the ambitious goals outlined in Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. This strategic framework aims to enhance educational outcomes and support regional growth, positioning the university as a key player in the area’s development.
