JEDDAH, March 30, 2025 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has sent a message of condolence to Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn following the recent earthquake in Bangkok.


“We were saddened to hear of the earthquake in Bangkok and the resulting loss of life, injuries, and missing persons. As we share in your grief, we extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Your Majesty, the bereaved families, and the people of Thailand. We pray for the safe return of the missing and a swift recovery for the injured, and that your nation remains free from harm,” King Salman said.


Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman also conveyed a similar message of sympathy to the Thai monarch.


“I was deeply saddened by the news of the earthquake in Bangkok and its tragic aftermath. I extend my sincere condolences and sympathy to Your Majesty, the families of the victims, and the people of Thailand. I pray for the safe return of the missing, a quick recovery for the injured, and that your country remains protected from further misfortune,” the Crown Prince stated.
