The Cabinet was briefed on a significant phone call between His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and French President Emmanuel Macron. The conversation underscored the importance of enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation across diverse sectors.
Moreover, the Cabinet reviewed the outcomes of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's recent engagements in regional and international forums, affirming the nation's commitment to fostering collaboration with multilateral organizations and blocs. It reiterated the Kingdom's dedication to strengthening coordination and collective action on global issues.
In response to unfolding events in Gaza, the Cabinet reiterated its call to the international community to take a firm stance against Israeli aggression and ensure compliance with international humanitarian law. It urged the immediate establishment of secure humanitarian corridors to facilitate the unhindered delivery of relief aid and medical supplies to affected populations.
Domestically, the Cabinet lauded the Kingdom's recent initiatives in economic, cultural, and social spheres. It expressed pride in the successful Human Capability Initiative Conference, attended by representatives from over 100 countries. Highlighting the establishment of more than 50 projects, memoranda of understanding, and agreements at the conference, the Cabinet emphasized the importance of global collaboration in human capability development.
Furthermore, the Cabinet emphasized the significance of Flag Day, observed on March 11, as a symbol of national pride and an occasion to reflect on the Kingdom's rich heritage and promising future.
Among the decisions made during the session, the Cabinet approved several memoranda of understanding and cooperation agreements with various countries. These agreements cover a wide range of sectors including energy, culture, environment, and transportation, reflecting the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to enhance international partnerships and collaboration.
In addition to approving cooperation agreements, the Cabinet authorized relevant ministers and officials to negotiate and sign agreements with respective counterparts, further solidifying diplomatic ties and fostering mutual understanding and cooperation on global issues.
