Riyadh, October 19, 2023, President Sauli Niinisto of the Republic of Finland received a telegram from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud expressing his condolences on the passing of former President Martti Ahtisaari. The former president of the Republic of Finland, Martti Ahtisaari, passed away, and according to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' cable, "We received news of his death. We express to Your Excellency, to the family of the deceased, and to your friendly people, our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy, hoping that you will not see any harm."
