Riyadh, September 27, 2023, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, extended a cable of condolences to Abdul Latif Rashid, the President of the Republic of Iraq, over the deaths caused by the fire that started in a wedding venue in Nineveh Governorate. The Iraqi president, the relatives of the fallen, and the comradely Iraqi people were all addressed in the cable by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, who expressed his profound sympathies and condolences. In addition, King Salman prayed to Allah the Almighty for his mercy on the souls of the slain, their families' comfort and tolerance, and for a quick recovery for the injured.
