On September 20, 2024, a royal order was issued approving the bylaws for the King Salman Foundation, which will further the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' initiatives to support the non-profit sector and promote sustainability in urban development. The foundation will include several key cultural institutions, such as the King Salman Cultural Centers, which feature the King Salman Museum, the King Salman Library as part of the Diriyah Gate Project, and the Saudi Society Museum located within the King Salman Park Project.
