Nouakchott, November 05, 2023, The voluntary medical initiative for pediatric cardiac surgery for children in Nouakchott, Republic of Mauritania, was started yesterday by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSreleif). 23 volunteers from different medical disciplines are taking part in the experiment from November 4th to November 11th, 2023, in partnership with the Children's Healthcare Association (Fulathat). The KSrelief volunteer medical team performed medical examinations and determined which cases required surgery. This project is an expansion of the charitable pediatric heart surgery efforts that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is conducting through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, in order to help those in need all over the world.
