Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari highlighted the positive outcome of the Saudi-African Summit, foreseeing enhanced cooperation through development projects and agreements. The Cabinet appreciated the participation in the Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit, focusing on Gaza, and reiterated support for the Palestinian cause.
Security challenges were addressed, emphasizing intensified cooperation in the face of regional and global threats. The Cabinet discussed outcomes of the Saudi-Omani Coordination Council meeting in Muscat, applauding strong bilateral ties. Saudi Arabia's active role in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and efforts to safeguard women's rights were underscored, including hosting the International Conference on Women in Islam.
Decisions included approving diplomatic relations with the Lao People's Democratic Republic, MOUs with Italy, Spain, and Cuba, and agreements with China and Thailand. Additionally, accession to global alliances, including the Global Alliance for Building and Construction and the WHO International Agency for Research on Cancer, was approved.
