King Salman offers condolences to Emperor Naruhito after Japan earthquake

Riyadh, January 03, 2024, His Majesty, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Emperor Naruhito of Japan through a cable following the devastating earthquake in central Japan. The King expressed his awareness of the tragic event, acknowledging the loss of lives and injuries incurred.

In his message, King Salman stated, "We have been informed of the news of the earthquake that struck central Japan and the resulting deaths and injuries, and as we share with Your Majesty the pain of this casualty, we send to you, the families of the deceased, and your friendly people, our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy, wishing the injured a speedy recovery, and that you do not see any harm."

This expression of sympathy and solidarity from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques reflects the shared grief and compassion felt by Saudi Arabia for the people of Japan during this challenging time.
