King Salman orders absentee funeral prayer for late Amir of Kuwait

Makkah, December 16, 2023, The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has issued a directive for the observance of the absentee funeral prayer in honor of the late Amir of the State of Kuwait, HH Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The absentee funeral prayer is scheduled to take place on Sunday, following the Dhuhr prayer, at both the Grand Holy Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. This solemn occasion provides an opportunity for people to collectively pay their respects and offer prayers for the departed leader, highlighting the deep bonds of friendship and mutual respect between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Kuwait.
