Aden, August 20, 2023, In a remarkable display of humanitarian efforts, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project, also known as Masam, achieved a significant milestone during the third week of August 2023. Operating in Yemen, the project has effectively neutralized a staggering number of 867 mines that were strategically planted by the Houthi militia. This commendable feat serves as a testament to the unwavering dedication and expertise of the KSrelief team in their mission to alleviate the suffering caused by explosive remnants of war in the region. In a recent development, a staggering array of weaponry has been discovered, comprising a total of 113 anti-tank weapons, 738 unexploded ordnance, 14 explosive devices, and two anti-personnel mines. In a remarkable display of commitment and dedication, KSrelief has successfully dismantled an astounding number of 411,568 mines since the inception of their project. This significant milestone speaks volumes about the organization's unwavering efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of communities affected by these hazardous explosives.
