Riyadh, October 14, 2024 – In a significant step toward enhancing regional cooperation in international trade, King Saud University President Abdullah bin Salman Al-Salman inaugurated the Regional Trade Policy Course (RTPC) for Middle Eastern countries. The event, held in collaboration with the General Authority of Foreign Trade and the World Trade Organization (WTO), marks a milestone in the Kingdom's efforts to advance its role in global commerce. The RTPC will run until December 5 and will be attended by high-ranking officials, including Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Abdul Jabbar, the Acting Governor of the General Authority of Foreign Trade.
During his opening remarks, President Al-Salman emphasized King Saud University's commitment to fostering collaboration with the WTO to further the development of international trade. He highlighted that the RTPC presents a unique opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding of global trade dynamics while benefiting from the university's vast expertise in this domain.
