King Saud University has listed 14 out of 26 Saudi scientific articles on the Clarivate Web of Science (WOS) Master Journal List for 2023.
The university has updated the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), and the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) to include these journals.
Most journals have witnessed gains in their quartile rankings according to the 2023 list generated by Clarivate Journal Analytics.

King Saud University has made a significant scientific achievement listing 14 out of 26 Saudi scientific articles on the Clarivate Web of Science (WOS) Master Journal List for 2023.This rating indicates a great success for the university. These publications use the Social Sciences Citation Index, Scopus, Science Citation Index Expanded, and Emerging Sources Citation Index. Several publications have been able to raise their 2023 List Clarivate Journal Analytics quartile rankings.
Dr. Abdullah bin Salman Al-Salman, interim Rector of King Saud University, said "This achievement falls in line with the goal of the university, elevated to global rankings, of the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030, and of the strong support of the leadership to science and scientists."
