Doha, May 14, 2024, The Saudi ambassador to Qatar, Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan, on Monday inaugurated the first Saudi National Products Exhibition in Qatar, held from May 13th to May 16th.
The Saudi ambassador toured the exhibition and was briefed on the Saudi brands and products participating in various sectors including industrial, food, health, and commercial fields.
Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce Secretary-General Waleed bin Hamad Al-Orainan expressed his wishes for the exhibition to achieve its goals and contribute to promoting the concept of "SAUDI MADE."
He also highlighted the depth of the relationship between Saudi Arabia and Qatar, expressing his gratitude and appreciation to the organizers of the first edition of this exhibition.
Afterwards, Saudi-Qatari Business Council President Hamad bin Ali Al-Shuwaier delivered a speech discussing the growth of economic relations between the two countries. He noted that trade in 2023 increased by approximately 110% compared to 2022.
He stated that the Saudi-Qatari Business Council will exert more effort to organize joint events aimed at increasing trade volume between the two countries.
Additionally, he indicated that this exhibition is designed to market Saudi products to the Qatari market and that Saudi products will reach more than 150 countries around the world.
