Makkah, August 30, 2023, In accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque's Presidency of Religious Affairs announced that they are putting together a comprehensive strategy to enable women to serve visitors to the Two Holy Mosques, enhance the experience of female pilgrims and Umrah performers, and promote Islam's message of tolerance throughout the world. Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, stated that empowering women is a religious and societal responsibility. He also stated that the presidency is eager to highlight the role and efforts of women in the service of the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors. Al-Sudais praised the accomplishments made by Saudi women during the rule of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
