KSrelief aids 269 displaced in Yemen's Razih District with healthcare, water

Saada, Yemen, April 13, 2024, KSrelief has been actively engaged in providing essential primary healthcare and water services to displaced individuals in Razih District, Saada Governorate, Republic of Yemen, with a notable impact on 269 beneficiaries throughout February.

Under this project, a range of clinics has been established to cater to the medical needs of the local population. The Epidemic Diseases Control Clinic successfully treated 74 patients, while the Emergency Clinic provided care for 49 individuals in urgent need. The Internal Medicine Clinic served 104 patients, with an additional 21 cases receiving specialized care at the Reproductive Health Clinic. The Awareness and Education Department addressed the needs of 21 cases as well.

Furthermore, the Nursing Services Clinic accommodated 100 beneficiaries, while the Surgery and Dressing Clinic assisted 3 patients, and the Medical Referral Department facilitated care for 20 individuals. A significant aspect of the project involved the distribution of medicines to 245 patients, ensuring access to essential pharmaceuticals.

Beyond medical services, the project also prioritized environmental health by conducting 8 waste disposal programs, contributing to a cleaner and healthier living environment. Additionally, the project played a vital role in providing safe drinking water to the district, pumping a total of 59,400 liters to meet the basic needs of the community.

KSrelief's ongoing commitment to addressing healthcare and water-related challenges in Razih District underscores its dedication to improving the well-being and quality of life for displaced individuals in Yemen.
