New York, September 27, 2024,The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Supervisor General Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah met with World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus during the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 79) in New York City.
During their discussion, they addressed the relief and humanitarian projects conducted by both parties in the healthcare sector, as well as the mechanisms for delivering medical assistance to patients and those affected worldwide.
The WHO director-general commended the medical initiatives carried out by Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to improve the health conditions of those in need across various countries, highlighting the strategic partnership between KSrelief and the WHO.
