KSrelief Clinics Deliver Medical Services to 2,897 People in Yemen


Hajjah, Yemen, October 21, 2024 — The mobile medical clinics operated by the King

Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) have made significant strides in delivering essential healthcare services to the local population in Azlat Al-Deir, Hayran District, Hajjah Governorate. In September 2024, these clinics provided medical assistance to a remarkable 2,897 beneficiaries, highlighting KSrelief's commitment to addressing urgent health needs in this underserved region.


Among the various services offered, the epidemic control clinic played a crucial role by serving 1,160 patients, effectively addressing public health concerns and preventing the spread of diseases. The emergency clinic treated 909 cases, providing immediate care to individuals in critical situations. Additionally, the internal medicine clinic catered to 808 patients, offering comprehensive assessments and treatments for various health conditions. The reproductive health clinic also contributed to community well-being by assisting 12 cases, emphasizing the importance of maternal and child health services.


Accompanying these primary medical services, the nursing services department provided care to 1,708 patients, ensuring that individuals received the necessary support and follow-up. A total of 2,794 patients were dispensed medications, reflecting the clinics' ability to meet pharmaceutical needs effectively. Furthermore, the surgery and dressing department saw 39 beneficiaries, highlighting the range of surgical services available on-site. KSrelief also conducted eight waste disposal activities to promote hygiene and environmental health within the community.


This comprehensive approach not only addresses immediate medical needs but also fosters greater awareness and education about health practices among the population. By delivering vital healthcare services and promoting preventive measures, KSrelief continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals in Hajjah Governorate, reinforcing its dedication to humanitarian assistance and health equity in Yemen.
