In a transformative act of medical diplomacy, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) carried out 27 cochlear implant surgeries for children in Senegal through its “Hearing Saudi” volunteer program. In addition to the surgeries, speech and language rehabilitation was offered to every child. Four tailored educational sessions were conducted for the children’s families, reaching 54 individuals. These efforts ensure each child not only hears but also communicates with confidence.
