KSrelief Completes Indonesian Voluntary Training Project


Training Initiative: KSrelief’s voluntary training project in Jakarta, held from August 12 to 19, 2024, provided advanced first aid and skill development in areas such as sewing, electrical work, nutrition, and content creation.


Beneficiaries: A total of 725 individuals participated in the training, benefiting from courses aimed at enhancing their skills and improving their livelihoods.

In a significant initiative underscoring its commitment to global humanitarian efforts, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully concluded its voluntary training project in Jakarta, Indonesia. Held from August 12 to August 19, 2024, this project was dedicated to providing essential economic support, empowerment, and advanced first aid training to local communities.


A dedicated team of 23 volunteers from various specialties led the training sessions, aiming to equip participants with valuable skills that can enhance their livelihoods and contribute to their personal and professional development. Over the course of the week-long initiative, the volunteers offered comprehensive training in several key areas:


Advanced First Aid: Participants received in-depth instruction in emergency medical techniques, equipping them with the skills necessary to handle critical situations and provide effective first aid.


Sewing and Embroidery: Courses were designed to teach participants the art of sewing and embroidery, providing them with practical skills that can lead to income-generating opportunities.


Electrical Extensions: Training in electrical systems and installations was provided, allowing individuals to gain knowledge in this technical field, which is essential for various professions.


Nutrition and Food Safety: Participants learned about the principles of nutrition and food safety, crucial for maintaining health and ensuring safe food practices.


Air Conditioning Maintenance: This training focused on the upkeep and repair of air conditioning systems, offering skills relevant to both residential and commercial settings.


Basics of Photography, Montage, and Content Creation: Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of photography and digital content creation, skills that are increasingly important in today’s media-driven world.


A total of 725 individuals benefited from these diverse courses, reflecting the broad impact of the training program on the local community.
