Nouakchott, December 25, 2024 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has successfully concluded a volunteer medical project focused on adult urological surgeries in Nouakchott, Mauritania. The initiative, which ran from December 13 to 22, 2024, was part of Saudi Arabia’s sustained commitment to improving healthcare access and alleviating suffering in vulnerable communities around the world. This latest medical mission highlights the Kingdom’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to provide specialized medical assistance to those in need, particularly in underserved regions.
The medical project brought together a dedicated team of eight volunteers, each with expertise in various medical specialties. Over the course of the project, the team performed an impressive 80 specialized urological surgeries, all of which were completed successfully.
