Beirut, January 01, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully concluded the second phase of the Kanaf 2023 project, which is designed to provide winter kits for Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.
The Winter Clothing Distribution Project, known as Kanaf, operates by distributing clothing vouchers to beneficiaries. These vouchers enable recipients to acquire winter kits tailored to their specific needs from authorized stores.
The second phase of the project has made a significant impact, reaching a total of 31,050 beneficiaries. This includes orphans, individuals with special needs within the Palestinian and Syrian refugee community, as well as families facing severe hardships within the host community.
The Kanaf project is part of the Kingdom's commitment to humanitarian assistance through KSrelief, its humanitarian arm. This initiative exemplifies the ongoing efforts to provide support and aid to individuals affected by crises, offering relief to those in need on a global scale. The successful conclusion of the second phase reflects the center's dedication to addressing the urgent needs of vulnerable populations, particularly during the challenging winter season.
