Nsawam, December 6, 2023, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully concluded the Noor Saudi Volunteer Program to Combat Blindness and the Diseases that Cause It in the city of Nsawam, Republic of Ghana. The program, executed from November 25 to December 2, aimed to provide medical assistance to individuals affected by eye diseases.
During the campaign, the volunteer medical team affiliated with KSrelief conducted examinations for 3,212 individuals. As part of their services, the team distributed 649 eyeglasses, performed 381 surgical operations, and dispensed 2,925 medications to those in need.
This initiative reflects the Kingdom's ongoing commitment to global humanitarian efforts, particularly in addressing health challenges and combating blindness. KSrelief continues to play a vital role in providing medical assistance and relief to individuals affected by various health conditions worldwide.
