Amman, August 30, 2024 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully concluded its 28th volunteer program at the Zaatari Refugee Camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan. This impactful initiative took place from August 17 to August 24, 2024, and saw the active participation of 20 dedicated volunteers from a range of medical specialties.
During the program, a comprehensive array of health services was provided to the camp's residents. The volunteers, experts in fields such as optometry, dermatology, physical therapy, psychological support, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and dentistry, delivered essential medical care to meet the diverse needs of the refugees.
In addition to healthcare services, the program included educational and skill development activities under the theme "I Can." These sessions were designed to empower both children and adults, with a total of 1,336 individuals benefiting from the various workshops and training provided.
