San Salvador, October 7, 2024 — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully concluded a voluntary medical project focused on vascular surgery and interventional catheterization in San Salvador, the capital city of El Salvador. This significant medical initiative ran from September 26 to October 3, 2024, and aimed to provide essential surgical care to those in need within the local community.

Throughout the campaign, the dedicated KSrelief medical team performed a total of 45 specialized surgeries, demonstrating a high level of skill and commitment to patient care. The initiative was bolstered by the contributions of eight volunteers, who brought diverse medical expertise to the project. Their collaboration ensured that the patients received comprehensive and effective treatment during the project’s duration.

This initiative is part of KSrelief’s broader mission to offer humanitarian assistance to underserved populations around the globe. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, consistently engages in voluntary medical projects designed to address the healthcare needs of vulnerable individuals and communities. By providing such specialized medical services, KSrelief underscores its commitment to improving health outcomes and supporting the welfare of affected people and nations.
