KSrelief Continues Vital Health and Water Services in Yemen’s Saada Governorate
Saada, Yemen, August 23, 2024 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has made significant strides in its ongoing project aimed at providing essential health care and water services to displaced individuals in Yemen's Saada Governorate. In July, the initiative focused on delivering comprehensive support to the community in the Razih District, benefiting a total of 340 individuals.
Throughout the month, the project has delivered a range of crucial medical services across several specialized clinics. The internal medicine clinic alone treated 171 patients, addressing various general health concerns. The epidemic control clinic played a vital role in managing and preventing disease outbreaks, serving 85 beneficiaries. The emergency clinic provided urgent care for 56 cases, while the reproductive health clinic supported 11 individuals with specific needs related to maternal and reproductive health.
In addition to these specialized services, the awareness and education clinic engaged 17 visitors, offering valuable health information and guidance. The nursing services department extended its care to 170 patients, ensuring that individuals received necessary support and treatment.
Medication was a critical component of the project, with prescriptions dispensed to 322 individuals, ensuring that essential drugs reached those in need. Waste management also formed part of the comprehensive care provided, with 13 waste disposal procedures carried out to maintain hygiene and prevent environmental contamination.
