KSrelief Continues Volunteer Medical Project for Cardiac Surgery and Catheterization in Yemen's Aden

Aden, May 13, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has been conducting a medical project for cardiac surgery and catheterization for children and adults at Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in Aden, Republic of Yemen. The project has been ongoing from May 4 to 15, 2024, with the participation of 25 volunteers from various specialties in collaboration with the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY).


 Since the beginning of the campaign, the volunteer medical team has performed 166 successful catheterization procedures and 25 open-heart surgeries.


 The assistance is part of a series of relief and humanitarian projects that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia implements through KSrelief to help needy and affected countries and people worldwide.
