Cox's Bazar, October 02, 2023, A delegation from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), led by Dr. Aqeel Bin Jamaan Al-Ghamdi, the center's Assistant General Supervisor, recently conducted an inspection visit to Ukhiya Specialized Hospital and District Sadar Hospital in Cox's Bazar district, Bangladesh.

During their visit, the team thoroughly examined the facilities at these hospitals and assessed the vital support provided by the Kingdom through KSrelief, which includes medical supplies and equipment.

Dr. Al-Ghamdi reaffirmed the ongoing partnership between the center, Malaysian Hospital, and Sadar District Hospital to deliver medical care to patients. This collaborative effort has been in place for several years as part of the Kingdom's commitment to supporting Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh and other nations.

In its continued dedication to humanitarian assistance, the Kingdom has undertaken over 43 projects with a total value of $186 million, spanning emergency relief response, education, shelter, and healthcare for Rohingya refugees. This extensive support reflects the Kingdom's ongoing efforts, facilitated by KSrelief, to enhance the living conditions of these refugees across various countries.
