Homs, February 1, 2025 — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to humanitarian aid with the distribution of essential supplies to those in need in Syria. Recently, the center distributed a range of vital relief items to 135 families in the Houla region, located in Syria's Homs Governorate. This initiative benefited a total of 644 individuals, providing them with much-needed support during these challenging times.
As part of the relief supplies distribution project, KSrelief provided 47 bags of flour, 94 bags of rice, and 94 kilograms of dates, all essential food items that are crucial for the daily sustenance of families in the region. Additionally, 47 bags of personal care items were distributed, addressing basic hygiene needs and promoting the health and well-being of the beneficiaries. These supplies are part of a broader effort to provide immediate relief to vulnerable communities who have been enduring the impacts of the ongoing crisis in Syria.
The distribution is a part of Saudi Arabia’s continuous humanitarian and relief efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of the Syrian people, particularly in areas that have been heavily affected by conflict and hardship. By providing these essential supplies, KSrelief aims to ease the burden on families and help them maintain their dignity during difficult circumstances.
This initiative reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to offering assistance to those in need, both in Syria and across the globe, with a focus on alleviating suffering, promoting stability, and improving the quality of life for affected populations. Through projects like these, KSrelief continues to play a pivotal role in delivering crucial humanitarian aid to some of the most vulnerable communities, ensuring that support reaches those who need it the most.
