On September 17, 2024, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered solar energy equipment to the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training office on the Hadhramaut Coast. This donation is part of the "Program for Development of Technical and Vocational Institutes in Hadhramaut," a collaborative effort with the United Nations Development Program and the Small and Micro Enterprise Promotion Service (SMEPS). Dr. Salem Bajaber, Director General of the Ministry office, commended KSrelief for its support, noting that the new equipment will enable the introduction of a sustainable training program and a new specialization in renewable energy at local technical institutes. This initiative aims to empower youth, enhance research in renewable energy, and contribute to Yemen’s economic recovery and job creation.
