KSrelief Distributes 1,054 Food Baskets, Hygiene Kits in Syria

Idlib, October 11, 2024 — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has made a significant contribution to disaster relief efforts in Syria, recently distributing 527 food baskets and an equal number of hygiene kits in Idlib Governorate. This initiative benefited approximately 3,162 individuals who have been severely impacted by the earthquake that struck northern Syria earlier this year.

This distribution is part of the second phase of a comprehensive project aimed at delivering vital assistance to communities affected by the earthquake. By providing essential food and hygiene supplies, KSrelief addresses the critical needs of families, helping to alleviate the immediate hardships they face in the wake of the disaster.

The aid effort underscores the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian assistance through KSrelief, which has been actively engaged in alleviating suffering and improving living conditions for those in need around the world. As the situation in northern Syria remains dire, KSrelief’s initiatives are crucial in providing not only sustenance but also dignity and hope to affected populations.

Through ongoing projects and distributions like this one, KSrelief continues to play a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable communities, reinforcing the Kingdom's dedication to humanitarian values. The organization’s efforts exemplify a proactive approach to disaster relief, ensuring that essential resources reach those who need them most during times of crisis.
