KSrelief distributes 2,083 food baskets to aid flood-affected areas in Pakistan

Islamabad, January 09, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has taken a significant step in supporting the flood-affected regions of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan by distributing 2,083 food baskets. This initiative, which falls under the umbrella of the third phase of the Food Security Support Project in Pakistan, aims to bring relief to 14,581 individuals facing the challenges of food insecurity.

The distribution of these essential food supplies underscores the commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, facilitated through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of those adversely impacted by the floods in various regions of Pakistan. As part of broader relief projects, this initiative is designed to contribute to achieving food security and addressing the immediate needs of the vulnerable and affected populations.

The assistance provided by KSrelief not only underscores the Kingdom's dedication to humanitarian causes but also reflects a concerted effort to extend support during times of crisis. By focusing on food security, KSrelief seeks to play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of those grappling with the aftermath of natural disasters, such as floods, in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
