KSrelief Distributes 2,500 Shelter Bags in Pakistan

Islamabad, October 24, 2024 — In a significant humanitarian effort, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) announced the distribution of 2,500 shelter bags across several provinces in Pakistan, including Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir. This initiative aims to provide critical support to individuals and families severely affected by recent floods in these regions.

The shelter bags are part of the fourth phase of the ongoing shelter and winter kits project for 2024, which is designed to assist those in the most vulnerable situations, particularly during the challenging winter months. This latest distribution is set to benefit approximately 17,500 individuals, offering them essential resources as they navigate the aftermath of natural disasters that have impacted their lives and livelihoods.

The efforts undertaken by KSrelief align with the broader humanitarian initiatives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is committed to assisting various needy and affected communities around the globe. Through these programs, KSrelief seeks to alleviate the suffering of those impacted by crises, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s role as a proactive contributor to international humanitarian efforts.
