KSrelief Distributes 225 Food Baskets in Yemen

Taiz, Yemen, August 24, 2024 – On August 23, 2024, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) conducted a significant food distribution effort on Mayun Island in Taiz Governorate, Yemen. This initiative was part of the center’s comprehensive food aid distribution project for 2024, aimed at addressing the critical needs of displaced and vulnerable families in Yemen.


During this operation, a total of 225 food baskets were distributed, providing essential sustenance to 1,575 individuals residing on Mayun Island. The food baskets were part of a broader humanitarian effort by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, designed to support those struggling with food insecurity amid ongoing challenges in the region.


This distribution reflects the Kingdom's ongoing commitment to humanitarian and relief efforts, focusing on meeting the basic food requirements of displaced persons and the most at-risk families in Yemen.
