KSrelief Distributes 225 Food Baskets in Yemen


On August 24, 2024, KSrelief distributed 225 food baskets on Mayun Island, Taiz Governorate, Yemen, benefiting 1,575 individuals.


The distribution is part of KSrelief's 2024 food aid project aimed at supporting displaced and vulnerable families in Yemen.

Taiz, Yemen, August 25, 2024 — In a significant display of humanitarian commitment, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) carried out a noteworthy distribution of food aid on Mayun Island in Taiz Governorate, Yemen, yesterday. As part of its ongoing food aid distribution project for 2024, KSrelief distributed a total of 225 food baskets, directly benefiting 1,575 individuals in the region.


This distribution is a key element of the broader humanitarian and relief efforts spearheaded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief. The initiative is designed to address the urgent and fundamental food needs of displaced populations and the most vulnerable families across Yemen.
