KSrelief Distributes 3,534 Food Baskets in Yemen


2,788 families in Yemen received 3,534 food baskets from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on August 3, 2024.


The distribution was a part of the Yemen Food Help Distribution Project for 2024, which aims to help the most impoverished families in a number of Yemeni governorates.


Over the course of the initiative, which is run by KSrelief and funded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, food will be provided to 253,659 individuals in need throughout nine governorates in Yemen.



The incident happened in Lahij, Yemen, on August 3, 2024. The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) provided 3,534 food baskets to 278 households in various Yemeni governorates yesterday as part of the 2024 Yemen Food Help Distribution Project. These people were deemed to be the most in need of aid. A total of 23,327 people received help.The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a humanitarian aid provider, will feed 253,659 persons in need throughout nine governorates in Yemen through an organization called KSrelief. The focus of this year-long initiative is families that have been forced to relocate or make compromises as a result of the crisis.
