KSrelief Distributes 300 Food Baskets in Taiz, 500 in Aden, Yemen

Taiz, Aden, Yemen, October 9, 2024 - The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has made significant strides in addressing the pressing needs of communities affected by recent floods in Yemen. On Tuesday, KSrelief distributed 300 food baskets in the Al-Ma'afar District of Taiz Governorate, directly benefiting 2,100 individuals from 300 families who have been severely impacted by the adverse weather conditions.


This distribution comes just a day after KSrelief provided an additional 500 food baskets in the Sheikh Othman District of Aden Governorate. This aid reached 3,500 individuals from 500 families who are experiencing dire circumstances, exacerbated by ongoing challenges in the region.


These initiatives form part of the 2024 food aid project aimed at assisting vulnerable populations in Yemen. The ongoing relief efforts underscore the commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support Yemenis during this humanitarian crisis, providing essential resources to those in need. KSrelief continues to implement a series of relief and humanitarian projects designed to alleviate the hardships faced by the Yemeni people amidst the ongoing conflict and instability.
