Nangarhar, January 13, 2025 – As part of its continuous humanitarian efforts, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) successfully distributed 330 shelter kits and 330 tents on Friday in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan. This generous distribution aimed to support 1,980 individuals, including vulnerable returnees from Pakistan and those affected by recent flooding in the region. The provision of shelter kits and tents will significantly aid families in dire need of housing and essential supplies, offering them temporary relief during challenging times.
This initiative is a key component of the 2024 shelter project launched by KSrelief, which focuses on providing immediate relief to communities impacted by displacement and natural disasters. The project is specifically designed to assist returnees from Pakistan, who have been re-entering Afghanistan, as well as flood-affected communities who are in desperate need of safe and secure shelter after devastating floods disrupted their lives.
