Akkar, December 02, 2024 — In a significant humanitarian initiative, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 420 purchase vouchers to orphans and individuals with special needs across the Beirut and Akkar governorates of Lebanon. The vouchers, part of the third phase of the Winter Clothing Distribution project (Kanaf-3) for this year, are designed to offer beneficiaries the flexibility to select winter clothing from approved local stores. This empowers them to choose items tailored to their specific needs, ensuring both comfort and dignity during the harsh winter season.
This initiative is a continuation of KSrelief’s ongoing efforts to provide relief and support to vulnerable populations in Lebanon, helping them combat the difficult winter conditions. Through its various projects, KSrelief has been a cornerstone of humanitarian assistance, delivering aid that directly addresses the most pressing needs of communities in Lebanon and other regions.
The Winter Clothing Distribution project is just one of many humanitarian undertakings led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, underlining its commitment to alleviating the suffering of those in need. KSrelief’s focus on orphans, individuals with special needs, and other vulnerable groups reflects the Kingdom’s unwavering dedication to improving the lives of people who are most affected by challenging circumstances. The project also symbolizes the Kingdom’s broader humanitarian philosophy, which is grounded in compassion and solidarity with those in crisis.
