KSrelief Distributes Food Aid in Marib, Yemen


Marib, Yemen, October 6, 2024 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has once again stepped forward to provide essential support to communities in need by distributing 219 food baskets in the Marib District of Marib Governorate. This initiative, carried out on Thursday, is aimed at families who have been severely impacted by recent flash floods and heavy rainfall, benefiting a total of 2,240 individuals from 320 families.


The distribution of these food baskets is part of the ongoing 2024 food aid project, which is designed to address the urgent needs of populations affected by natural disasters throughout Yemen. By targeting vulnerable families, KSrelief aims to alleviate the immediate food insecurity that arises from such calamities, offering a lifeline to those struggling to meet their basic needs.


This initiative is a crucial component of the broader relief efforts undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, which seeks to mitigate the effects of the humanitarian crises faced by the Yemeni population.
