Gezira, September 14, 2023, As part of the mission to improve food security in Sudan this year, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) began distributing food baskets in the Republic of the Sudan. Gezira State received 34 tons and 160 kg of food baskets yesterday, helping 5,217 displaced persons. The assistance is part of the relief and humanitarian operations that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, is funding to assist the people of Sudan in the midst of the current crisis.
