KSrelief distributes food baskets, supports Pakistan's food security in 2024

Islamabad, January 21, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) persisted in the distribution of food baskets in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, marking a crucial step in the third phase of the initiative aimed at supporting food security in Pakistan throughout 2024.

In a recent development, 1,762 food baskets were disbursed in the Malakand District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and the Pishin district of the Balochistan province. This impactful distribution directly benefited 12,334 individuals residing in areas adversely affected by floods.

This ongoing effort is part of the comprehensive relief projects orchestrated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, channeled through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief. The primary objective of these initiatives is to fortify food security in Pakistan, a response to the humanitarian crisis that the country has been grappling with.
